Volunteers are instrumental to the operation of Hope Haven. By simply showing up, they send the message to our residents that their community cares about them and is invested in their success! Volunteers multiply the efforts of our staff in all areas of our program. We offer opportunities for individual volunteers as well as groups. Wide-ranging opportunities include, but aren’t limited to:
Serving meals
Completing campus landscaping projects
Assisting with resident room renovations
Providing guidance for residents in our computer lab
Leading enrichment activities like art, poetry, exercise
Leading worship services to expose residents to all expressions of faith
Coordinating donation drives for everyday needs or special holiday needs
Hosting social events such as game nights, holiday celebrations, and movie parties
